Our Weekend via iPhone Pics

Here is a little glimpse into what we did this weekend... via iPhone pics (that is now fixed and as good as new!)....

Friday was Baby Kinley's 1st Birthday! Her amazing momma (my cousin, Chantal) hosted such a cute party
for her with all the hot pink a lil' princess would want!

Saturday the Hubs and I went to Eva with our friends.
Nine of us crammed into a table meant for six- ha! But it was a good way for everyone to participate in the conversation... and Eva's flat bread is TO DIE!!

Sunday I decided to be ambitious in the kitchen and I made Cake Pops for the first time!
I am throwing a few showers this spring and want to add these to the menu, but I needed to make sure that I could actually do it. And If I do say so myself- they turned out pretty dang yummy!

Jazz Game and Superbowl!!!

This last weekend was so much fun! Friday night we went to Wise Guys with our cute friends Felly and Greg and saw Ryan Hamilton- he is hilarious!
Saturday we went to the Jazz vs. Lakers game and it was awesome. Jazz kicked some L.A. Laker butt! It was a good game because it was back and forth all night and we got to see a fist fight up close and personal! Yup that's right, Jazz Fan vs. Laker Fan got in a fist fight 2 rows in front of us! Nutty!
... oh and I got a churro which made the game all that much better!
Then we had a chill Superbowl Sunday with the fam. It was fun just to hang out in our PJ's and eat junk food all day. Too bad the Patriots lost, but lets be honest Tom Brady still went home to Gisele, who's the real winner here???

Me and my baby! Go Jazz!

Harris in is 49ers jersey- ya babe we all wish they were there!

Superbowl Sunday!!! Love it!

Football Game, Crafts, and Random Thoughts.....

One of my best friends lil' bro plays varsity football for Viewmont High. And being the wonderful sissy that she is, Tori, goes to most of his games. And using her charm she likes to talk us into going with her.... So I know that Viewmont was pretty much one of our biggest rivals when I was in high school (Bountiful Braves- woohoo!), but I was still cheering them on!
Football Game Realizations:
1. Once the sun goes down it is freezing out. Time to start bringing a sweater.
2. High School kids are just babies. I remember thinking I was so grown-up at 17. Boy was I WRONG!

So like I said in my previous post: I am in love with "crafting" right now.... This is what my weekend after the football game looked like....

First I got out my supplies: hot glue gun, remnant gray satin, gray felt.....

This was a really old necklace that I never wore.

With the fabric, glue, and old necklace.... I made something new and cute!  (bad picture though)

Then I decided to make these bib necklaces for my sister in-laws.

And finally I made another wreath. I had already made one for myself using this tutorial.
I made this one for my mother in-law. I just love it!
