Baby Shower Gift

Since I have become obsessed with Pinterest I have found SO many cute baby shower and gift ideas. I honestly sit and hope that someone I know will get pregnant so I can recreate one of these adorable ideas! And finally... I got my wish. My friend from work is having a little boy next month!
I found this idea on Pinterst and fell in love. It is from Boogaboo Handmade and I even used the same Etsy shop, Baby Cakes Design Co.. They are monthly milestone onesies.
I ordered the stickers, bought 4 different packages of onesies from Target (0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, and 9-12 months). I pre-washed the onesies and then stuck the stickers on. I also found the box at Target and decorated it and the card, myself (very proud of my crafty-ness). The new baby's nursery is decorated in the colors on the box and with owls, so I wanted to go with that theme for the gift as well.
I think it turned out rather awesome and I can't wait to do it again!

Master Bedroom

I really want to finish decorating our master bedroom. I have started with the basics: bedding, furniture, rug, mirror.... and that's about where it ends {insert sad face here}. I am doing our room in gray, purple, and black. I really want to incorporate a little bit of a yellow or green too- just to add a little pop.

These are some additions I really want to incorporate (once school is out that is)....

1. Vanity Table
I want one that doesn't have a mirror mounted to the back. This is because
most of the tables that do come with a mirror the mirror are tiny!
I would buy a separate mirror and mount it to the wall, instead.
Ikea

2. Purple Wallpaper Accent Wall
I really want to do one wall, the wall that our bed is on, in wallpaper.
YES, wallpaper is BACK people! Once, I have some free time I am going to start
looking for the perfect purple wallpaper. I then want to paint the other 3 walls light a gray.

3. White "Reading" Chair.
I really want to get a chair to go in the corner of our room. It has be comfy, though,
because this will be my reading chair. I would accent the chair with a gray throw
and a purple toss pillow.

4. Green Calla Lily
As I mentioned before I want to add a bit of pop to our room. I think bright
green lilies in purple vases would do the trick!

5. Purple Vases
I love these vases and they would be perfect on our dresser, which is quite bare right now.

6. Crystal Lamp with Gray Shade
Right now we have some really cheap lamps from Ikea on our bedside tables.
I picked them out when we first moved in last spring, for that very reason...
They were cheap. And now I HATE them. I would love to have these lovelies instead!
Target

7. Small Side Table
I saw this table online and fell in love with it. I initially wanted to find a
yellow one that I had seen at Ikea, but they no longer make the one I wanted.
This one would be perfect right next to my "reading" chair.
And it adds that pop of color I am looking to add (it is lime green, but looks yellow in the pic).

Ps. If Harris had his way, this would be the only addition to our bedroom....

Fall "Hike"

Jena and I decided to go for a hike along Shoreline for our workout, instead of the same old gym routine. Well... Our hike turned into more of a walk than a hike. Ha! But at least we got a great view of the city and the pretty leaves on the mountains.
